SCAM ALERT!!!
It has been brought to our attention that someone has called one of our members and they are impersonating being an employee from Mountain Laurel FCU. They are telling the members that their accounts have been compromised and that the members are to mail “the employee” a $9,000 check to reopen an account.
THIS IS A SCAM!!!! DO NOT interact with these people. Just hang up! MLFCU will never request you to send us money. DO NOT give out any information. If you are ever in doubt, please call the credit union first at 814-834-9518 or your local branch number.
